
Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp rosemary, chopped
1 tsp vanilla
1 large egg
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp sea salt flakes
Procedure
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
- Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, and rosemary in a stand mixer until pale.
- Beat in the egg.
- Add flour mixture and mix until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Shape dough into 1.5″ balls and flatten slightly on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle each cookie with salt flakes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Notes
- I used fresh rosemary from my garden and Maldon salt to top the cookies.
